Today was an absolute blood bath, any ideas what happened? VIX spike with crashing of the banks/BTC? I didn't see anything else, as dollar/oil/gas/etc was all down.

seems like a news driven event, its not like every move in the market is going to options driven. we also have negative macro for weeks now.
