Summer Clean-Up: Restructuring Emini.Today
Making Sense of All the Mess: Tools, Knowledge, Packages
It's time to reorganize the content on emini.today as well as on this Substack. I'm doing this mainly for two reasons. On one hand, many people simply get lost in what is what and for whom. On the other hand, I need to reduce the number of elements that are not yet automated and thus consume quite a bit of my time. Moreover, most tests, analyses, and experiments can be considered complete, so there is no need to continually archive some screenshots and data. In other words, simplifying and minimizing content to what is most essential and effective.
(One more reason, which I will write about later, is the matter of vacations. I won't be able to do everything daily during part of summer holidays as I have been so far).
Substack
Not much will change here. Generally, this is mainly a place for my daily notes, especially those regarding the upcoming session but also to gather "evidence" for various research projects I conduct. The key element of the daily posts is the "pre-market commentary." You don't need to read anything else to know my plan for the upcoming session. From a practical standpoint, this is the most important post.
Additionally, for founding members, there have been and will continue to be bonus posts with specific and unique knowledge or scripts that will not appear anywhere else.
An important aspect is that if you subscribe monthly or annually, or annually as a founding member, you also have access to the Emini.Today Terminal for the same period.
I will try to add more content for free subscribers in the near future; so far, it has only been the option structure.
Emini.Today website
Emini.Today can be divided into two main parts: Tools and Knowledge. When it comes to Knowledge, we are dealing with packages of unique content, usually accompanied by some proprietary scripts. These are packages that have appeared on my site over the years, and access to them was sold as a one-time purchase without the need for a monthly subscription. You pay once and have access forever.
What is important is that, in most cases, these are limited packages that disappear from the offer forever after a certain time or number of subscribers. As I have emphasized many times, the purpose of Emini.Today is not to build vast reach and acquire hundreds or thousands of users.
The second part of the Emini.Today site consists of real-time tools. Here we have the Terminal, which is a web app showing several live option metrics (mostly), and on the other hand, indicators for Sierrachart, NinjaTrader, and TradingView. It's also worth mentioning the trading bot for NinjaTrader, which has been tested by our group for several months and has performed very well so far.
GEX Ladder and Cumulative Orderbook
The two newest tools in the Terminal. Unfortunately, I need to make some changes here. From now on, they will not be available in the standard monthly subscription through the Terminal. The first reason is computing power (as I mentioned in the discord, I ran it locally last week and had to deploy new, much stronger server to keep these stable), and the second is the number of accesses, which I want to limit at least for the next few months while I conduct further tests and develop this concept.
Since most users' access to NinjaTrader/Sierra Chart indicators is ending, and the test period for the automated strategy for Sierra Chart will soon end too, I have decided to create annual access that includes the above + GEX Ladder and Cumulative Orderbook. There will also be TrendPhase midterm/swing strategy, fully automated python source code deployed.
Moreover, apart from access to these tools through the Terminal, the user will receive the source code for the Cumulative Orderbook in Python, which you can run locally on your machine in case something happens to my server. In other words, you have an independent source, which is yours forever (code will be published in the mid of July ‘24).
Discord
As for Discord, nothing changes here. We still have the main channel available for every user and dedicated sub-channels for most of the packages.
